Every indigenous spiritual tradition and natural philosophy around the world describes circles and great cycles that have periods of abrupt change, but continuation nevertheless. – Like a forest fire that destroys the old, but afterwards new shoots emerge again.

Many spiritual people have now turned away from the hypocrisy and prejudice of orthodox religion which is often no longer fit for purpose. The Nature Spirituality movement is very popular and broad, though it does not have any central organisation as religions do. Rather it is based on personal empirical experience plus seeking to find connection in the 'Old Ways'.

Yin-Yang Balance

Equating Yin and Yang with Gender is too simplistic, every person has both, though sometimes one shows more than the other.

The ancient Chinese definition of Yin and Yang philosophy was that 'Yang' faced the sun while 'Yin' turned away from the sun and in the context of a sun which moves across the sky through the day.   ...So Yin and Yang are an always changing inseparable polarity. Later this principle was used to describe other things... In Chinese traditional medicine it is said that; "Yin is installed in the interior as the substantial basis of Yang, while Yang remains on the exterior as the manifestation of Yin."   ...Substance and Manifestation.   So 'Manifestation' Yang means like our technologies, cultures and individual wealth, while the whole of Nature which we we are part of remains the core 'Substance' or Unity that is Yin.

This outward growth into manifestation by Yang energy, means we also begin to diversify and separate into individuality.   Yet there is always opposite Yin energy trying to assimilate the experience back into the Unity of the core essence. This is the natural progression of the Soul.   A kind of feedback learning from experience, though not always appreciated especially by hard religion.

However as the outward Yang expansion becomes greater and ever more alluring, it gains dominance and accelerates, bringing with it even more unstable technologies and divided cultures until Nature forces a complete reversal.

Patriarchal religion cannot help because of its own excessive Yang.

...What is going to happen, is going to happen!   We have to prepare to go through this, but our society is not ready!

Be one with the Earth, and all of the other Spirits with us.

The spiritual way is to help every realm of Nature; animal, vegetable and mineral, to become the best it can be. Like irrigating plants so that they may reach full maturity, keeping pollutants out of the earth, sea, rivers and atmosphere. Treating animals as our cousins.   This is joyful, Nature is joyous.

But when this 'Spiritual' view of Nature is scorned, either by twisted religion or atheist science, then human endeavour becomes about dominion over, exploiting and abusing our environment.

Humans are totally dependent upon that which is now being grossly abused — how stupid is that?
